Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest is excited to announce the promotion of Travis Powell to Vice President of Operations for our Des Moines location.

Travis joined Commonwealth in 2013 as a field electrician on our Des Moines team and transitioned into the office as a Project Manager in 2018. Through hard work, strong leadership, and a commitment to excellence, he continued to advance within the organization, most recently serving as Senior Project Manager. Travis has played a key role in the success of numerous projects and has earned the respect of teammates, customers, and industry partners alike.

With nearly 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, Travis brings extensive field knowledge, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of our business to this leadership role. As Vice President of Operations, he will provide strategic leadership for the Des Moines office, overseeing operations, supporting project teams, helping drive business growth, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring the continued delivery of exceptional service and project execution.
