A worldwide leader in livestock vaccine and adjuvant manufacturing is expanding its presence in Omaha, NE, with the renovation of a new 16,000-square-foot facility. This addition is designed to supplement the organization’s existing facilities and support its growing demand for cutting-edge research, diagnostic, and production space.

The facility includes a blend of clean rooms, laboratories, and office space—purpose-built to elevate the company’s capabilities in vaccine and adjuvant development and production. The project involved a complete electrical renovation, starting with a new main electrical service and extending through the installation of new branch and equipment circuits throughout the building.

The renovation was executed in two phases, with Phase 1 reaching completion in Fall 2024 and Phase 2 scheduled to finish in Fall 2025. The company has partnered with CRB, a firm recognized for its wide variety of expertise in design and construction management, to lead the project. The electrical scope of work was managed by Service Manager Ben Parker and led in the field by Jeff Huttenstine, whose leadership and experience were instrumental in delivering a seamless and efficient build-out. Rounding out Jeff’s fully capable crew are Nick Munch, Dustin Goble, Alex Schaefer, Megan Munch, and Chris Rudeen.

This expansion highlights the organization’s commitment to innovation in animal health and further strengthens its role as a key industry player in the Midwest and across the globe.

Commonwealth’s Omaha team renovated the building’s electrical equipment, as seen above.
