ALDI Refrigeration Power and Controls

Jul 2, 2019

Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest recently negotiated the power and controls work for multiple ALDI grocery stores. They completed the first store in Ankeny, Iowa, and have been hard at work remodeling other ALDI locations.

These projects consist of new electrical service power walls that house all breakers, panels, and relays to control refrigeration equipment. Commonwealth’s work includes cabling and installing the controls in walk-in coolers, open display cases, alarm and monitoring equipment, and new roof-mounted condenser racks.

CECM is partnered with Marick, Inc. on these projects. Marick, Inc. has been active in the Des Moines refrigeration and HVAC market since the mid-seventies. Commonwealth Electric-Des Moines is excited about this partnership and its prospects.
