SALT LAKE CITY, UT – Rydalch Electric, Inc., a Commonwealth Company, through its Commonwealth Cares initiative, has generously donated $25,000 to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) in the names of an employee lost from suicide. This contribution reflects Rydalch’s dedication to supporting mental health awareness and creates a path toward healing for those affected by suicide.

AFSP is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. With chapters in all 50 states, AFSP empowers individuals and communities to take action, raise awareness, and support those impacted by suicide loss. By funding innovative research and promoting prevention strategies, AFSP works toward a future where suicide is no longer a leading cause of death.

“We are so grateful to Rydalch Electric for the generous donation. At the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, our mission is to save lives and support those affected by suicide. Our team of staff and volunteers across the country works to accomplish this mission through education, state and federal advocacy, loss and healing support for anyone affected by suicide, and as the #1 private funder of suicide prevention research in the world. This donation helps us forward that mission.”

Executive Director, AFSP Utah Chapter

Giving back is at the heart of Commonwealth’s mission, and the Commonwealth Cares initiative brings that commitment to life under the banner “Energizing Communities for a Brighter Tomorrow.” This program expands local efforts into a structured framework for impactful, strategic giving. Commonwealth strives not only to provide exceptional electrical, low-voltage, and exposition services but also to make a lasting difference for its industry, customers, and communities. By inviting employees to nominate causes that matter to them, the initiative fosters a sense of ownership and connection. Through this inclusive approach, team members can volunteer their time, share their skills, and help shape the company’s philanthropic direction.
