Our Des Moines team accepts the Outstanding Philanthropist award.
Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest’s team in Des Moines, IA, is proud and honored to have been recognized as the 2024 Outstanding Philanthropist by UnityPoint Health – Des Moines. The award was presented at UnityPoint Health’s Donor Recognition Event, celebrating our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community.
Through our Commonwealth Cares program, we have supported numerous causes close to our hearts. One highlight of our efforts has been our significant $100,000 donation to the Child Life program at UnityPoint Health’s Blank Children’s Hospital. In total, our contributions exceeded $300,000, demonstrating our dedication to making a meaningful impact.
As well as financial support, our team is involved in volunteering. Each year, we participate in the Festival of Trees and Lights, contributing countless hours to this beloved event.
We are grateful for the opportunity to give back, and for this recognition from UnityPoint Health. Our mission is to continue serving and supporting our community with passion and purpose.
