Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest (CECM) in Greater Nebraska was recently awarded a project at the Lexington Wastewater Treatment Facility in Lexington, NE. The plant is located roughly 45 minutes west of the CECM Kearney office. The project consists of the installation of a new headworks building, three clarifiers, and support structures. There are also plans to renovate existing structures, relocate and replace a 600A switchgear, and install an Automatic Transfer Switch. Foreman Niko Ahrens is working with the General Contractor on a daily basis and coordinating with the facility staff to work in existing areas. The project is scheduled to be completed later this winter.
