Two Landmark Centre

Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest’s team in Lincoln, NE, recently completed a $6.3 million electrical contract on a new three-story LEED Silver premier office building in downtown Lincoln.

The Two Landmark Centre is located in downtown Lincoln on Lincoln Mall, which features the Nebraska State Capitol to the east and the Lincoln/Lancaster Government Complex to the west. The building is owned by Lincoln-based NEBCO Inc. and will be leased to the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

The building features 120,000 square feet of office and lab space and 28,000 square feet of underground parking, with another 16,000 square feet of available space for another tenant. Commonwealth’s team, under the guidance of Sampson Construction, provided electrical work, low-voltage communication systems, and fire alarm installation, as well as security, access control, and A/V rough-in.

General Foreman Troy Huetson led the Commonwealth team, with Low Voltage General Foreman Jacob Starkey in charge of the low voltage team. The project finished final commissioning in February, with USDA moving in during early March.
