Members of Commonwealth’s team in Omaha, NE, came together to participate in this year’s annual Market to Market Relay Nebraska. This event, recognized as the nation’s largest day-long relay, spanned roughly 75 miles from Omaha’s Seymour Smith Park to Lincoln’s Haymarket Park.

Commonwealth’s team this year included Omaha employees Dan Cahalan, Dan Maca, Edgar Tello, Isaiah Edson, Aidan Colyer, and Jared Colyer, as well as friends of Commonwealth Bethany Arnold and Ellie Schroeder. Board Member Glen Moss, one of Commonwealth’s original owners, drove the van for the team.

This year’s relay marked Commonwealth’s 16th year in a row of participation. We have fielded a team every year the event has been held, including 2020, when many teams opted to do a virtual run due to COVID-19. This year, we welcomed some younger runners—the Colyer brothers—to the team, both of whom ran cross country in high school. The future of Commonwealth’s Market to Market Relay Nebraska team looks bright!
