The Phoenix, AZ, team at Commonwealth Electric Company of the Midwest has been making steady progress at Chandler Regional Medical Center, located in Chandler, AZ. Our team has embraced the challenge of this Design-assist project, as it involves schedules for multiple areas running simultaneously.

This $3.8M project included all installation of raceways and boxes for electrical systems, panelboards, access controls, wiring devices, lighting and controls, as well as GE and Steris equipment power. Our prefabrication department has played a pivotal role in adding efficiencies by assisting our field staff with building lighting whips, conduit bends, and wire mold assemblies to save time on installation on site.

These improvements will benefit our stakeholders in the community in a big way, providing the hospital staff with added capacity and clean, safe spaces to better care for patients and their experiences. Our success in these jobs has led to our team in Phoenix receiving the notice to proceed on a 4-story ground-up project slated to start in the months to come.
