On Saturday, May 18, employees from our Des Moines, IA, location participated in the second annual Central Iowa Heart Walk, led by team captain Beth McQuiston. The walk was held at the Iowa State Capitol.

In addition to the 5k walk itself, the Heart Walk hosted several fun activities for kids, as well as great informational booths about other groups and events in the Des Moines area.

Our team walked alongside multiple other contractors, fostering connections within our industry and building morale and camaraderie within our own team, all while raising money and awareness for a great cause. Together, the Des Moines team of 24 employees—along with family and friends—raised nearly $1,000 for heart health research and initiatives.

We are looking forward to creating a team and walking for the cause again next year!
