Baxter Arena’s new center-hung scoreboard
The Omaha, NE, team is proud to highlight two exciting Daktronics installations recently completed in Omaha — each showcasing our team’s electrical expertise.
At Baxter Arena, Commonwealth enhanced the fan experience with a dynamic wire center-hung signage system and vibrant ribbon displays. These installations bring high-impact visuals to every event, from Maverick hockey games to concerts and community gatherings. And just a few miles away, our team completed a similar transformation at CHI Health Center — Omaha’s premier venue for sports and entertainment.
Both projects featured wire center-hung signage tailored for large-scale visibility, ribbon displays along the arena bowl to energize the crowd and enhance branding, and integration of Daktronics display elements to support live events and sponsor engagement. All were led by Project Manager Kevin Hill and Foreman Jose Reicks, who ensured flawless execution from start to finish.
Our Low Voltage department also played a key role in supporting the installations, led by Senior Service Manager Lance Nuzum, alongside Foremen Travis Keller and Paul Euteneuer assisting with wire pulling and infrastructure setup — a vital part of bringing these advanced systems to life.
We also extend our appreciation to Daktronics, Inc., our valued partner and customer, on both projects. Their collaboration and trust continue to drive innovation in venue display technology.
These installations reflect our commitment to excellence and our ability to deliver high-impact solutions for major entertainment and sports venues. Omaha fans are now enjoying a brighter, bolder experience, and we’re proud to have made it happen.
The newly-installed Daktronics system is on full display at CHI Health Center.
